Location: Downtown Ottawa

Work Model: Hybrid, 1 days per week onsite in downtown Ottawa

Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance: Secret (Required)

Focus: Design AI/ML solutions, RPA workflows, and Azure-based data infrastructure.

Position Summar

yLead the technical architecture, development, and implementation of innovative data solutions leveraging cloud technologies, AI/ML, and robotic process automation (RPA). Drive our client's data strategy to enhance decision-making, system integration, and operational efficiency. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Lead Data Solutions Architect to drive the design and implementation of scalable, innovative data and AI solutions. This role will lead data architecture efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide enterprise-wide data initiatives leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation

.Key Responsibilities

• :Design and architect scalable infrastructure and solutions for data science and analytics
• .Develop and lead enterprise data strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization
• .Collaborate with IT, business, and data science teams to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions
• .Champion the integration of emerging technologies including AI, LLMs, ML, RPA, and cloud (Azure)
• .Ensure alignment with data governance, architectural standards, and organizational strategy
• .Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex system integration and transformation projects
• .Maintain external partnerships and internal stakeholder relationships to drive data innovation

.Qualifications

• :Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• .8+ years in IT with 5+ years in solution architecture for large-scale projects
• .2+ years leading advanced data science/AI initiatives in a cloud environment (preferably Azure)
• .Strong communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills
