Data Solution Architect

Location: Krakow or Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week)

Languages: Proficiency in one EU language (German, French, Spanish, or Portuguese) required

Work Flexibility: Must be open to occasional overtime, including weekends

Role Overview:

We're seeking a Data Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in big data, data engineering, and Azure cloud services, with strong SQL skills and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions using Azure Databricks and PySpark
• Integrate with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, and on-prem systems
• Build robust data pipelines, Delta Lake solutions, and ETL processes
• Lead and mentor data engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security best practices
• Drive continuous innovation and keep up with industry trends

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, SQL
• Hands-on with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, and cloud security
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice to Have:

• Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Spark Streaming, ARM templates

Experience:

• 12+ years in data engineering with expertise in Azure ecosystem
• Proven track record with Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, and modern data architecture
