Job Title: Sr Data Architect

Location: Glendale, CA – Onsite 4 days a week

Platform / Stack

You will work with technologies that include Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, and Erwin OR SQL Workbench.

Compensation Expectation : $80 – 100/hr

What You’ll Do As a Sr Data Architect:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product managers to understand data requirements and develop data strategies that align with business goals
• Lead the design and implementation of data architectures, including semantic and dimensional models, that enable efficient storage, retrieval, and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain documentation, such as data standards, governance policies, and best practices, to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
• Work closely with data engineers and data product managers to implement scalable data analytical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and drive innovation.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to build technical expertise and drive continuous improvement
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams on best practices and standards for data architecture.
• Design and implement business analytics and data science data architectures. These are tailored solutions to complex problems.
  
  

Qualifications:

You could be a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, business intelligence, report development, and data modeling
• Strong expertise in semantic modeling, dimensional modeling, and industry-standard data warehousing concepts and methodologies
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Synapse preferred
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred
• Expert Proficiency in SQL
• Data modeling experience with Erwin, SQL Workbench, or something similar
