A Data Architect - Enterprise Data Governance role has become available at an international manufacturing firm leader in their field.

As a Data Architect you will support the development, documentation, and oversight of data models, standards, and processes to bolster the strategic management of data assets across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in defining data standards and contribute to the advancement of the global data framework.
• Document and manage system-independent data definitions across various domains.
• Develop, update, and refine conceptual and logical data models using corporate guidelines.
• Create and update documentation for data classification, lineage, and catalog initiatives, and aid in defining data lifecycle processes.
• Work closely with Data Domain Architects and Business Representatives to ensure data consistency and quality.
• Assist in coordinating and implementing data governance projects and frameworks.
  

Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in data modeling; experience in data governance or enterprise architecture support is advantageous.
• Proficiency in data modeling methods (conceptual, logical, physical) and data governance principles.
• Broad understanding of database systems (both SQL and No-SQL).
• Familiarity with SAP data models is beneficial.
• Manufacturing industry background a strong plus.
• Insight into how data supports business processes and its critical role in operational success.
• Ability to work in a structured, independent, and pragmatic manner with keen attention to detail.
• Capable of collaborating effectively across diverse business and IT teams.
• Experience in stakeholder management is preferred.
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Data Management, or a related field.
