I am partnered with a Series B company in New York, who are looking for a Founding Data Analytics Engineer.

This business provide a platform for registered dieticians to start and grow their own practices, which means they provide all the software and insurance services that dieticians need. Since 2023, they have raised capital from Top VC's and Angel Investors.

They are now looking for a Founding Data Analytics Engineer, who can help them grow as a business and can ensure they have a solid foundation for the data that they are capturing. You will be a hands-on data expert who can own their data, build pipelines and create actionable BI dashboards. This role will be an IC role, so you will be translating those business needs into data insights and working directly with senior leaders

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the Data Set-Up e.g. build data pipelines and work with the Software Engineers to track the data
• Be able to do both Data Engineering and BI dashboarding
• Understand and translate the business needs e.g. what does this data mean and then run the analysis
• Work with internal teams and set up dashboards for internal business units
• Manage the development and maintenance of the platform

Qualifications

• Data Engineering and BI experience
• Can demonstrate your expeirence in translating business questions into actionable insights
• Experience with Data Warehouses e.g. Redshift or BigQuery
• Experience with ETL tools like DBT or Fivetran
• Experience at a early stage start-up or has been the first data hire at their company
