Position Summary
We’re looking for a Data Analyst Summer Intern to join our Data & Insights team and play a key role in helping us understand how our residents engage with the Thrive ecosystem. This is a hands-on internship with meaningful projects tied to real business outcomes — not busywork. You'll help us dig into resident retention, event ROI, marketing performance, and amenity usage to help drive key decisions.
REPORTS TO: VP Of Digital Marketing, VP of Asset Management
Responsibilities And Duties
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Analyze resident engagement using data from property software and loyalty programs
Support the development of internal dashboards that track retention, campaign ROI, and amenity performance
Collaborate with marketing, leasing, and operations teams to identify areas of opportunity
Conduct lead funnel and campaign performance analysis using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Ads Manager
Assist with data cleaning and documentation, improving the usability of our internal datasets
Present your findings in a capstone report or final presentation to senior leadership
Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education And Experience
A current sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
Curious, detail-oriented, and excited about using data to solve real-world problems
Familiar with Excel, Google Sheets, and basic data visualization tools like Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Tableau
Exposure to Python (pandas, matplotlib) or SQL is a strong plus, but not required
Comfortable learning new tools and collaborating across departments

Internship Details
Approximate timeline: June–August 2025
Location: Hybrid — our HQ is in Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: 15.00 per hour, up to 40 hours per week, paid-biweekly
