Our client is recruiting a Data Analyst to join a well-established FinTech firm specialising in SaaS products that deliver real-time market data and pricing, comparable with industry giants like Bloomberg and Reuters. They have more than 600 employees across global locations in the UK, US, China, India, Singapore, Brazil, Belgium, Finland and have just opened a new ‘tech hub’ in Sofia.


We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the development and maintenance of large-scale environmental datasets, with a key focus on carbon-related data. This is a hands-on role that combines data management, quality assurance, and analytical reporting.


The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, structure, and usability of key datasets that inform strategic decisions and product development. You’ll collaborate across multiple teams to build reliable data pipelines, dashboards, and tools to support a growing carbon data offer.


Key Skills:

  • Strong experience working with large datasets
  • Solid SQL skills for data querying and transformation
  • Excel, Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong data validation and quality control capabilities
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Clear communicator with the ability to work across teams


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Python or R
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Understanding of ETL processes and pipeline automation
  • Awareness of data governance and compliance standards
  • Interest or background in economics
  • Exposure to carbon markets, sustainability, or energy data


Projects You’ll Work On:

  • Building and maintaining structured datasets for carbon and environmental markets
  • Developing automated data pipelines and quality assurance systems
  • Supporting reporting and dashboard creation for internal and external use
  • Collaborating with product and strategy teams to enhance the carbon data offering
  • Helping shape new data-driven tools and insights for emerging sustainability markets
