Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our growing Human Resources department. This is a high-visibility role that serves as a strategic partner to HR leadership, delivering data-driven insights that directly influence decision-making across workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.


Location: Norristown, PA

Work Setting: Onsite


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance data integrity across HR platforms, including HRIS, performance systems, and employee surveys
  • Develop and manage HR data repositories and reporting frameworks to support executive-level decision-making
  • Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance standards
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to track KPIs such as turnover, headcount, compensation, and diversity metrics
  • Develop scalable visual analytics to support self-service reporting across HR and business functions
  • Train internal users on best practices in HR data visualization and report usage
  • Perform trend and root cause analyses to inform strategies around retention, performance, and workforce planning
  • Leverage predictive analytics to proactively address risks and opportunities in human capital management
  • Stay current with advancements in HR analytics tools and techniques, including Microsoft Fabric and emerging data technologies
  • Identify and recommend process enhancements using data insights to improve HR service delivery and program effectiveness
  • Support automation and operational efficiency initiatives through scripting, querying, and data mapping
  • Advise on optimization strategies for compensation, benefits, engagement, and staffing models
  • Serve as a key resource for system maintenance, configuration, and upgrades within the HRIS (Dayforce preferred)
  • Troubleshoot system issues and document reporting enhancements in collaboration with technical teams
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for data extraction, integration, and reporting
  • Additional duties may be assigned to support departmental and organizational priorities.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in HR analytics, workforce reporting, or HRIS management
  • Master’s degree or HR certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required

Technical Proficiency

  • HRIS expertise with demonstrated experience in data extraction and analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI and other business intelligence tools
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, or R for scripting, automation, and statistical analysis
  • Experience designing queries and scripts across multiple HR or enterprise systems

Core Competencies

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and data storytelling skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Familiarity with HR metrics, KPIs, and compliance frameworks (e.g., EEO, OFCCP, GDPR)
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
