Operating out of seven locations, we offer medical care (primary care, dental, vision, OB/GYN, telehealth), behavioral health care, 340B pharmacy, nutritional assistance programs, and more.Working hours are Monday - Fridaywith occasional Saturday morning coverage.
SUMMARY:
The Data Analyst will prepare and provide health care related data analysis and trend information drawn from various sources and systems to the Lower Lights Senior Leadership Team in support of business decisions and process improvement activities. Data analyzed and presented in a clear and concise format could be related to finance, productivity, operations, clinical quality or population health management among other areas. The Data Analyst would develop and distribute standard reports to support the day to day needs of the business, as well as ad hoc reports to support specific projects. The Data Analyst may be a team member on internal and external projects and/or may lead specific projects that are appropriate to their skillset. The information provided by the Data Analyst is instrumental in improving patient outcomes and the financial health of the business. The Data Analyst will be a lead role with implementation of new programs that integrate with our system. The position also assists with the process of making sure the workflow process is documented properly as needed for grant measures.

Bachelors degree in business, healthcare, financial management, information management, statistics or a related field is required.
5 or more years' experience in data analysis, extracting information from various systems preferred
Knowledge of advanced Excel required and experience with other data reporting tools such as Power BI, R, SAP, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, etc. preferred
SQL experience is required
Knowledge of Quality Tools such as Control Charts, dashboards, database management (database management might be a little much), developing complex queries preferred
Must be highly skilled in logical query development, report design and creation, and data presentation
Understanding of Healthcare data and experience with healthcare data is a plus
Must be able to work on your own and understand priorities to stay on task and to have a proper sense of urgency
Must be able to clearly explain and present any findings, patterns or trends to all levels of the organization
May need to use internal and external sources to provide complete and thorough data analyses
Will need to be able to grasp the interactions between areas and processes to be successful in this role
Experience with an Electronic Health Record system a plus
Knowledge of claims data a plus
Familiarity with Patient Centered Medical Home, Meaningful Use, HEDIS Quality Measures helpful
