We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon.

Position Overview

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing data analysis and reporting tools to teams like VERDI. Your responsibilities will include data extraction, processing, and delivery to support decision-making and enhance the user experience. This collaborative role will involve working closely with teams to ensure high data quality while addressing recurring and ad hoc business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL data pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Fine-tune SQL queries and Python scripts for enhanced performance.
• Generate actionable insights and identify emerging trends through data analysis.
• Deliver data outputs in an attractive and functional format for stakeholders.
• Understand business requirements and assess their impacts to guide data solutions.
• Continuously ensure the accuracy and quality of data and provide ongoing support to the team.

Required Skills

• Advanced Python for scripting and analytics 🐍.
• Advanced SQL with Oracle (mandatory); SQL Server and PostgreSQL (preferred).
• Experience with PySpark and Data Warehouses.
• Familiarity with Agile (SCRUM) methodologies.
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow (desired).
• Fluent English (mandatory).

Bonus Skills:

• Version control with GIT.
• Experience with Parquet file format.
• Ability to create APIs in Python.
