Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and insightful Data Analyst to join our growing team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work with various data sources, perform statistical analysis, and communicate your findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize key metrics and insights.
  • Apply statistical techniques and methodologies to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for data quality improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Document data analysis processes and findings clearly and concisely.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies.
  • Present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python (with libraries like Pandas and NumPy), or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and their application in data analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.


Bonus Points:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with data mining and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with ETL processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of specific industry data and metrics (mention specific industries if relevant).
  • Experience with statistical modeling software (e.g., SAS).
