Summary

Morrison Finance is a European-based leading consultancy company. We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst Consultant to work within the Program Management Life Department of one of our blue chip client in insurance industry. This team is crucial for managing projects and tools that enhance the efficiency of operational activities. A key challenge they face is effectively managing and representing increasing volumes of data.

The cconsultant will support a newly launched workflow tool that requires expertise in Power BI to gather and visualize the necessary information for Operations teams. The role will involve several upcoming projects where data collection, analysis, and the presentation of insights will be essential for maintaining focus and driving performance.

Collaboration with Operations departments and IT colleagues is vital, as reconciling diverse interests will be a significant aspect of the role. We are looking for a Data Analyst and Power BI expert who will translate operational data into analytical models, elevate the data skills of team members, and play a pivotal role in conceptualizing data architecture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to deliver actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data and support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through regular verifications and validation processes.
  • Propose and implement initiatives to enhance awareness of data analytics within the department.
  • Identify and implement analytics models based on operational data.
  • Support and mentor one or two colleagues in the Process & Organisation team.
  • Assist in establishing the conceptual architecture for data management.
  • Apply AI solutions to improve the creation of sophisticated and insightful Power BI dashboards.

Business Experience Required :

  • Senior profile with concrete experience in data analysis and Power BI

  • Experience in the insurance or financial industry


Technical Experience Required:

  • Proficiency in MS Office 365
  • Mastery of Power BI, including advanced features like Power Query and DAX
  • Data analysis and modeling skills
  • Expertise in data visualization techniques

Preferable:

  • Knowledge of Python
  • Familiarity with Copilot M365
  • Experience with time series modeling (e.g., ARIMA) in Power BI
  • Understanding of Azure Cognitive Services


Level of Education

Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Business), with an emphasis on data analysis.


Language Requirement

  • Native-level proficiency in Dutch and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English
