About The Role
Being able to think strategically on behalf of the User Experience Design Department at Luxoft and always keeping the big picture in mind is key!
Your tasks will be to develop and articulate the vision and point of views that give voice to pitches, proposals, projects and public performances, and to consult internal and external clients on matters of User Experience Design in Automotive
You will push both our clients and our internal team by using your industry expertise and solidly grounding research to expand our User Experience Design business
As an architect of the early project vision, it is critical that you make clients feel both comfortable and engaged in the entire design process. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and the engineering team as well
You will have the possibility to growth and work on our thought leadership with support of development of our got to market initiative for China and managing the further development of our UXD Design portfolio according to our Japan client needs.
Responsibilities
Building key relationship to our stakeholders in the Automotive industry and its ecosystem especially for user experience design and expand our business
Respond to RFI´s / RFQ´s together with our sales team and UX/UI team leads
Establish trust-based relationships with our clients to better serve their organizations
Crafting of the User Experience Automotive value proposition
Driving “UX/UI Thought Leadership” by creating Blog content, talks on conferences and creating Whitepapers
Acting as evangelist of User Experience in Automotive towards clients, partners, press & analysts
Attending workshops and conferences to stay abreast of new UX/UI trends
Support our got to market initiative and strategic planning for sustainable growth inside the User Experience practice for Japan market
Managing the further development of the UX/UI Design portfolio according to client needs
Driving R&D work, demos, events in close cooperation with the other offerings like Digital Cockpit, Autonomous Driving, Connected Mobility
Meet with technology partners and start-ups and help to establish a network of strategic partnerships around the world
Ensure our UX/UI offering for Japan is up to date and update it according to our long-term roadmap
Qualifications
Degree in UI Design, UX Design, Interaction Design, or comparable vocational training
At least 6+ years’ experience working in UX/UI design at an international agency or in house design department at the automotive and mobility sector
Exceptional creativity and a particular feeling for extraordinary UX/UI
Strong ability to present design ideas and results internally and externally with customer
Strong business instinct and experiences, method-set and general understanding of how design- and innovation create value for our clients
Speak the various departmental languages including, design, engineering, marketing, brand and communications
Strong awareness and appreciation for how organizations function, how decisions are made, and by whom
A master of finding the new angle of the story that will resonate and inspire our clients
Interested in the latest topics in interfaces, technological innovations, product advancements and automotive innovations
Experience in building commercial proposals
Communicate effectively with all audiences including senior leaders in a structure matter
