We are seeking an experienced AI Consultant with a strong focus on AI products, particularly within Supply Chain function of the Consumer-Packaged Goods and Retail (CPGR) industry. Responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI product roadmap for supply chain use cases (e.g., demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics planning, supplier risk analysis)
• Identify high-impact business challenges and translate them into AI opportunities by collaborating with supply chain stakeholders and data scientists
• Work with cross-functional teams to define functional and technical requirements for AI models and tools tailored to supply chain operations
• Ensure effective use of supply chain data assets to support predictive modelling, scenario simulation and real-time insights
• Act as a trusted advisor to supply chain leaders, communicating complex AI concepts in a clear, actionable manner
• Define KPIs and track the adoption, value delivery and continuous improvement of AI solutions post-deployment
• Leverage AI technologies, including traditional predictive analytics and machine learning, LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to address CPGR-specific challenges such as supply chain optimization, inventory management and consumer engagement
• Communicate AI strategies, opportunities and risks effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to navigate industry regulations, including the EU AI Act and their impact on AI in CPGR
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including client presentations, product demos and responses to RFPs/RFIs
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Data Science, Engineering, Business or related field
• Extensive experience in supply chain roles, with at least 5 years focused on AI, advanced analytics or digital transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and challenges (planning, procurement, logistics, fulfillment, etc.)
• Experience working with AI/ML teams and familiarity with AI concepts, such as supervised learning, optimization and forecasting models
• Proven ability to manage product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and iteration
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with business and technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with supply chain platforms (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, etc.) and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for senior business leaders
• Familiarity with the EU AI regulatory framework and other relevant compliance standards
