Summary

Department: Enabling Technology, Digital & Technology Platform Services.

Location: Egypt, Cairo.


The D365 Integration Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that allow different software systems, applications, or services to communicate with Microsoft Dynamics365. Their goal is to create efficient, scalable, and secure APIs that enable seamless data exchange and functionality across platforms. As an integration engineer, you will work closely with product teams, architects, and support teams to implement best practices and according to the integration framework.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, Develop, and Test Custom Integrations:

o Develop and testing and support integrations based on custom APIs, Power automate flows.

o Ensure seamless data integration between D365 and external systems/services.

• Azure-Based Integrations:

o Develop and test integrations utilizing Azure components such as Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus.

o Implement and maintain robust integration solutions leveraging the full capabilities of the Azure ecosystem.

• Collaboration and Documentation:

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand integration requirements.

o Prepare detailed technical documentation for the developed solutions.

• Performance Optimization:

o Optimize integration performance and ensure data integrity and security.

o Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.

• Continuous Improvement:

o Stay updated with the latest D365 and Azure integration technologies and best practices.

o Propose and implement improvements to existing integration processes.

• Observability and Monitoring:

o Use insights from observability tools to optimize incident resolution times, improve application performance, and drive continuous improvement.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

o Work closely with architects, SRE’s and engineering teams to improve system stability and reduce incidents through proactive solutions. Propose ideas on solution designs and architectures that help improve application reliability or process simplification


ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• Education & Technical Skills:

o Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

o 5+ years of hands-on experience in building integrations, of which at least 2 years programming on the Microsoft Power Platform

o Hands-on experience with Azure components such as Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, etc.

o Strong experience with custom APIs, custom actions, and plugins in D365.

o Experience with Power Automate flow for data integration.

o Knowledge of the customization in D365 (creating tables, forms, apps) would be beneficial

o Interpret business requirements and translate them into solutions driven by Dynamics365 CRM by understanding the needs of the business and mapping these as business processes

o Ensure development of simple, supportable and upgradable solutions

o Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.

o Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

o Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power Platform

o Familiarity with Agile methodologies, with Safe Agile certification strongly preferred.

o Proficiency in C#, .NET, and other relevant programming languages.

o Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

o Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial
