We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager - Network Operations and Data Center to join ur growing team.

Job Summary

The Manager - Network Operations and Data Center will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and performance of our network infrastructure and data center operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of networking technologies, data center operations, security best practices, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex network environments and ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Network Monitoring and Performance Management :

• Proactively monitor network performance and track network usage, providing reports on system load, utilization, and response times.
• Conduct diagnostic analysis of the network to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  
  

Network Device Management

• Manage and maintain modular routers, modular switches, load balancers, and other network devices, ensuring optimal configuration and performance.
• Specifically, hands-on experience with Juniper, HP, Fortinet, and Cisco technologies is essential.
  
  

Network Upgrades And Implementation

• Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions to meet business needs and achieve optimal performance.
• This includes evaluating new technologies, developing implementation plans, and overseeing the execution of upgrades.
  
  

Network Security

• Identify and resolve gaps in security controls and address network vulnerabilities.
• Respond to network cyber-security threats and ensure the network and security equipment are updated with the latest firmware and patches.
• Experience with firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint) and Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS) is crucial.
  
  

Vendor Management

• Liaise with vendors and contractors for network-specific products and services, negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance.
  
  

Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the network infrastructure, security policies, and operational procedures.
  
  

Data Center Operations

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the data center, ensuring its availability, security, and efficiency.
  
  

Job Requirements

Experience : 8+ years of experience in network operations and data center management.

Technical Skills

• Expert knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper, HP, Fortinet, and Cisco networking equipment.
• Expertise in routing protocols (RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
• Deep understanding of BGP, VTP, VLAN, MPLS, IS-IS, VPLS, HSRP, VRF, AAA, GRE tunnels, SD-WAN, ACI, QoS, IPS/IDS.
• Expert knowledge of firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint).
• Expertise in server load balancers.
• Experience with data center technologies
