Job Responsibilities

The scope of the role encompasses the following

• Engage with stakeholders to plan and schedule project related activities to come up with a project plan.


• Manage the project deliverables co-ordinating activities with the business and technology teams end-to-end based on the project plan.


• Track project budgets, issues and risks based on the plan created.


• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on the progress.


• Manage the issues/ risks pro-actively to look at mitigation and resolution involving the required team members.


• Timely escalation to concerned parties to bring to attention delays, risks and issues.


• Create a governance and communication structure for the project to connect at a working level and for stakeholder updates.


• Liaise with the finance & procurement teams for the vendor contract, invoice payments and required documentation with approvals.


• Manage the delivery of all project deliverables and artefacts as per the organization’s delivery lifecycle.


• Understand the business outcomes required based on the implementation requirements of the cybersecurity solution to be able to manage the project.


Job Requirements:

• Experience as a project manager handling regional projects that involve business and technology teams coming together for business outcomes.


• Added advantage for experienced in Cybersecurity & User Access Management project implementations.


• Ability to create a project plan with milestones and detailed activities to track execution and delivery as per the plan.


• Knows how to maintain visibility of risks & issues in the project with clear due dates and owners.


• Ability to assist the team in pro-actively managing risks so that they do not materialize.


• Bring all required parties together to address issues and provide solutions for resolution of issues.


• Manages the schedule to anticipate delays and come up with a catch-up plan,


• Track budgets based on resource utilization, professional services and hardware/ software requirements.


• Raise requests for budget approvals and facilitate processing of invoices/ payments engaging the finance and procurement teams.


• Excellent communication skills written and oral to communicate project updates.


• Raise requests to on-board resources on to the project team for execution.


• Self-motivated, self-organizing and possess drive, ability to be hands-on and a good team player.


• Experience in liaising with distributed teams, infrastructure teams and other personnel for implementation of solutions.


At least 8 years of work experience as a project manager preferably in a corporate banking environment preferably in projects that involve implementation of cybersecurity solutions.
