We are seeking an experienced and skilled local Cyber Security Specialist (m/f/d) for a Railway Infrastructure Project in Egypt. The Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for safeguarding the railway construction supervision project's digital and information assets. This role involves developing security protocols, monitoring threats, and ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems involved in the project.

Responsibilities

• Security Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies that address potential vulnerabilities and protect critical digital infrastructure.
• Threat Monitoring and Response: Monitor network activity for potential security threats and respond promptly to incidents, minimizing impact on project operations.
• Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks associated with the project's digital systems.
• Data Protection: Ensure sensitive data related to the project is securely stored and transmitted, implementing encryption and other data protection measures.
• Security Training and Awareness: Educate project staff on best practices for cyber security, promoting a security-conscious culture within the organization.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant cyber security regulations and standards, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on security activities.
  
  

Qualifications

We particularly welcome applications from candidates with professional experience in the Egyptian construction sector, including familiarity with local regulations, language, and working culture.

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Cyber Security in railway or comparable industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• IT and relevant software proficiency.
• Fluency in English, Arabic would be a plus.
