It's an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. While this position is based at Idaho Power's downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote. What does a Cyber Security Program Manager do for us? They manage and lead a variety of projects within the organization and facilitate the planning and prioritization of complex zero-trust initiatives. Additionally, they will inform on Idaho Power's overall cyber risk management posture and strategy. A COMPETITIVE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE Knowledge of: * In-depth and comprehensive understanding of project management principles, preferably from the Project Management Institute (PMI) * Both predictive and adaptive project management processes and techniques * Portfolio management * Program management * Cybersecurity practices * Cybersecurity risk management Skills in: * Communication * Leadership * Critical thinking * Negotiation * Risk management * Contract management * Scheduling and coordination * Task management * Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) * Meeting facilitation * Coaching * Quality management * Organizational change management * Problem solving Ability to: * Interact with, lead, and influence a wide range of employees, from technical staff to non-technical staff * Maintain a strategic focus while monitoring or leading focused engagements * Tailor communications to different audiences * Adapt to changes in strategy and direction * Learn quickly * Seamlessly monitor and manage the details of a project while keeping the strategic purpose and deliverables in focus * Independently distinguish the most effective process, tools, and techniques to apply to each project * Mentor, coach, and teach others in zero trust and project management practices MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: * Bachelor's degree in cyber security, information systems, business management, or computer science OR * An equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred: * Master's degree in cyber security Experience: * 5 years of directly applicable experience in project management, with a focus on IT security, identity management, and cloud technologies Preferred: * Experience managing highly complex technology projects including but not limited to enterprise-level technology implementations * Managing purchased solutions that include management of a vendor and/or contract resources Licenses & Certifications: * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position Preferred: * Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, Security+ Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant certification PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
