About the job:
You will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join NATO Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), which is responsible for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities for cyber security. In executing this responsibility, NCSC provides specialist cyber security-related services covering the spectrum of scientific, technical, acquisition, operations, maintenance, and sustainment support, throughout the lifecycle of NATO Communications and Information Systems (CIS).
We are looking for driven and enthusiastic Cyber Security Engineers (Security Accreditation) who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
- Provide security accreditation advice and guidance to NCI Agency Project/System Managers and NCI Agency contractors during whole life cycle of NATO CIS, including providing inputs to Project Proposals, Invitations for Bid, Bid Evaluations;
- Conduct Security Risk Assessment in support of security accreditation of NATO CIS, in particular; identify level of threats and vulnerabilities for all assets comprising NATO CIS, derive residual risks and provide risk management recommendations;
- Identify, plan, request and manage development of required documents for accreditation (CIS Description, Security Accreditation Plan, Security Risk Assessment Report, Security Requirement Statements, Security Operating Procedures, and Security Test and Verification Plan);
- Witness security testing (in accordance with STVP) and coordinate remediation plan with the relevant SAA;
- Build and sustain effective communications with different stakeholders, including Security Accreditation Boards, NATO Security Accreditation Authorities, NATO CIS Operational Authorities, and NCI Agency organization units involved in security accreditation process.

- Cyber Security Infrastructure Specialist – G15 – 2 posts (one post in Braine L’Alleud, Belgium and one post in The Hague, Netherlands) - for a full list of duties review the job description on the NCI Agency career site. Salary: 6467.30 EUR monthly (Belgium) / 7163.77 EUR monthly (The Netherlands)
Your performance during the recruitment process will be the primary factor in determining the post and grade you will be offered (if applicable).
About you:
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2/3 years post-related experience.Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 6/10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
- Good knowledge and experience (at least 2/3 years) in the following areas:
ü Security Accreditation of major CIS acquisition and/or development projects for a large organization;
ü Security risk assessment methodologies and tools;
ü Planning, design and implementation of security components of major CIS.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
