What You'll Be Doing:

The candidate must have had hands-on experience working with M365 security, centered in the build and run/maintain functions.

• This is NOT an advisor or consultant role; the candidate should possess demonstrated proficiency within M365’s protect and detect capabilities across the various asset classes (especially endpoint and identity).

Required Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will understand the balance needed between user experience and service availability and security.

* Advance the Cyber road map and contribute to identification, prioritization, and implementation of security posture improvements

* Maintain and optimize security tools and core platforms, especially M365 Defender. Leverage these tools and their capabilities to optimize identity, endpoint, cloud, and application protections where there is opportunity to do so

• Evaluate capabilities and effectiveness of control environment and its individual controls and platforms, recommend required enhancements to the Cyber Security Manager, and implement proposed enhancements and improvements within planned timelines and budget

• Candidate must demonstrate hands-on experience in the below areas:

o M365 Security

o Endpoint Protection

o Identity Governance and Identity Administration (IGA)

o Zero trust principals and application
