Cyber Engineer/Analyst – Protect Systems and Hunt Threats in a Secure Environment

This role requires an Negative Vetting 1 clearance or above and is based in Canberra, ACT.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor, maintain and improve cybersecurity systems, including log ingestion and use case development.
• Perform security analysis on event logs to detect and counter anomalous activity.
• Support incident response, remediation, and threat-hunting efforts.
• Create and maintain cybersecurity playbooks and technical documentation.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Cyber Security Analyst and/or Engineer.
• Experience managing SPLUNK or equivalent SIEM infrastructure.
• Knowledge of log ingestion from hybrid platforms (Azure & AWS).
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with a team-focused mindset.
