IT Cyber Security Engineer

Your contribution

 

In this critical role, you will ensure a secure IT environment, providing expert advice and support to employees on IT security matters. You will lead cyber security projects, enhance IT infrastructure standards, and drive improvements in global IT services. Additionally, you will be responsible for global IT security operations and develop business continuity protocols.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Assisting and advising employees on IT security concerns
• Conducting ongoing reviews of systems for potential cyber security risks
• Organizing and prioritizing IT security issue resolutions
• Performing vulnerability and networking scanning assessments
• Updating systems and software with the latest security patches
• Analyzing and establishing security requirements for global IT systems
• Coordinating external resources, such as security engineers
• Managing tickets related to incidents and changes

      

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
• Further technical IT-related education with basic security training
• Experience in IT-related roles, including project management and IT security
• Good written and verbal English skills; basic German is a plus
• Negotiation skills and knowledge of business processes
• Networking skills, particularly with Cisco systems
• Self-motivated, reliable, and a good communicator
• Team player who is well-organized and goes the extra mile
