About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a lean, high-performance cybersecurity team responsible for defending one of the most technically sophisticated and security-conscious financial institutions in the world.

You’ll work across detection, incident response, and proactive threat hunting. Expect to spend as much time developing custom tooling and improving automation as you will triaging real-world threats. Your work will directly impact the security of the firm’s systems, people, and data—and you’ll be empowered to make fast decisions when it matters most.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor, detect, and respond to potential threats against firm infrastructure, users, and networks
• Design and implement custom tools to improve detection, response, and investigation workflows
• Conduct in-depth threat hunting, identifying risks before they become incidents
• Perform root cause analysis and work cross-functionally to remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
• Take part in strategic projects aimed at boosting security visibility, automation, and resilience

What We’re Looking For

• A strong interest in cybersecurity and familiarity with current threat landscapes
• Hands-on scripting skills with the ability to build reliable, readable, and general-purpose tools
• Knowledge of version control and comfort managing configurations in code
• Thoughtful approach to threat modeling, with the ability to clearly explain risk trade-offs to stakeholders
• Fluency in English is required
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant experience is preferred
