About the Role:

As an Information Security Consultant at Alphabit Cybersecurity, you'll combine technical expertise with advisory skills to enhance our clients' cybersecurity posture, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their critical information assets. You will actively implement advanced cybersecurity solutions and guide clients in establishing robust Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice on ISMS development, implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement according to standards and regulatory frameworks like ISO, NIST, GDPR, NIS2 and DORA.
• Develop and enhance security policies, standards, risk governance processes, and technical documentation.
• Design and deploy secure architectures across network infrastructures, applications, and cloud environments.
• Participate in incident response, digital forensics activities, and security investigations.
• Foster strong relationships with clients’ technical and business teams to support integrated cybersecurity solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of GRC frameworks e.g. ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301, GDPR, NIS2, NIST, MITRE.
• Expertise in IT and cybersecurity. Past experience in programming, pen-testing, threat intel, and security audits is a desired plus.
• Proficiency with security tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and advisory capabilities.
• Effective communication and client engagement skills.

Certifications:

• ISC2 CC, CompTIA Security+ or similar (highly desirable)
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementor
• Other: vendor specific, cloud etc.

Experience & Education:

• 3-6 years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering or consulting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university.
