Description

The Security Architect will provide strategic oversight and technical direction in designing secure and scalable architectures across enterprise environments. The role requires deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, modern system design, and security compliance frameworks to ensure that systems are architected securely from inception through implementation and maintenance. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading the development of enterprise-level cybersecurity architecture and roadmap
• Evaluating and recommending security tools, platforms, and standards for systems.
• Providing technical consultation to engineering and development teams.
• Ensuring that architectures comply with DoD and federal cybersecurity standards.
• Identifying system vulnerabilities and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Required Skills

• At least 10 years of IT experience, including 8 years in technical cybersecurity roles.
• Proficiency in: Systems engineering and cybersecurity architecture, Requirement analysis and systems integration, Network and systems administration.
• Familiarity with secure systems design principles and enterprise-level threat modeling.
  
  

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• ISASE Level II Certification (e.g., CASP+ CE, CISSP, CSSLP).
• Active Top Secret Clearance.
  
  

Conditions of Employment

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America. Sponsorship will not be a part of this contract
