Cyber Engineer

Seattle, WA - Metro Area

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Research, design, development and test of software applications for a variety of systems.
  • Understand customer/operational requirements and implement new functionality into software products.
  • Develop unit test software to exercise critical aspects of the system.
  • Document and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner.


Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Candidate should be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance - US Citizenship Required
  • Minimum of 5 yrs experience working in Cyber or related field.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools.
  • Proficient in C and Python
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux System API and ABI.
  • Experience developing client/server network architectures.
  • Configuration control experience using GIT in a multi-developer environment with baseline branch management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems.


Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Active Top-Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Experience with Docker containerization and other Virtualization/Containerization technologies.
  • Security+ Certification, Dev-Ops support to production systems, experience with continuous integration.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems.
  • Experience with Intel / ARM / MIPS / PPC assembly languages.
  • Experience with Ghidra, IDA Pro, GDB, or other debuggers.
  • Experience with distributed software version control systems and continuous integration, such as Jenkins.
  • Experience implementing and integrating security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, integrity, and non-repudiation) into applications.


Salary Range: $135,000 - $243,589

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes company equity, retirement plan, company-paid health care benefits, flexible paid time off policy, and opportunity for a raise and bonus during the year.
