About Us

We're an innovative startup launching our alternative school transportation carpool program in Hawaii. We seek an entrepreneurial thinking, highly motivated individual who believes in our mission to create a sustainable mobility program for Hawaii. This role requires exceptional communication skills and community engagement experience. We're looking for someone passionate about sustainability education, technology, and building strong community relationships. We especially encourage parents with school-aged children in Hawaii to apply, particularly those with PTA or school volunteer experience who understand the daily transportation challenges families face.

MUST BE BASED IN HAWAII, ideally Oahu, to work with our schools on the ground and over Zoom. We are not considering out-of-state applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Success and Program Management

• Connect with our school customers and contract liaison to oversee all aspects of the program; oversee and confirm correct data delivery from schools
• Develop and implement customer success strategies to ensure school and parent engagement
• Launch and coordinate carpool program activities and track progress
• Liaise with schools, parents and potential partners to our program

Community Engagement & Marketing Communications

• Draft compelling newsletters to keep our school community informed and engaged
• Create engaging social media posts and design targeted social media ad campaigns
• Review and redraft all customer communications to ensure clarity and consistency
• Produce how-to videos and instructional content for parents and schools
• Draft professional presentations and email communications for various stakeholders
• Lead local marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts based on market knowledge and school feedback

Customer Support & Training

• Provide exceptional support to parents and schools
• Handle smaller customer support questions and technical issues with clear, solution-oriented communication
• Conduct engaging webinars and training sessions for school representatives and parents
• Build and nurture relationships with the school community

Team Collaboration

• Maintain regular communication with schools and our US -based Gokid team members: Be part of a weekly meeting; daily activity updates
• Contribute to marketing strategy development and implementation

Qualifications:

• 3-years of customer success or project management
• Strong marketing and communications skills with demonstrated experience in content creation
• Excellent writing skills with ability to create engaging, clear, and persuasive content
• Proficiency with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
• Experience with design and content creation tools such as Canva and/or Figma
• Knowledge of social media management tools and analytics
• Experience with email outreach campaigns using tools like HubSpot and Instantly
• Demonstrated lead generation skills and experience
• Experience in community engagement and building stakeholder relationships
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Proficiency with technical customer support tools and CRM data management is a plus (HubSpot)
• Experience in the edtech and school sector is a significant plus
• PTA involvement or school volunteer experience highly valued
• Knowledge of the Hawaii school landscape is highly valuable

Working Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours/week
