Customer Service Representative - Order Entry

Location: Onsite in Vernon, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm

Pay: $20-25/hr DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative specializing in Order Entry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing customer orders efficiently and accurately while providing exceptional service to our clients. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining smooth operations within the order processing system.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders through EDI and ensure timely entry into the system.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide support related to order status, product availability, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and address any issues that may arise.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the database.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and improve order processing efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in order entry or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in sales, customer accounts, or a manufacturing background is a plus.
