Summary

Position HighlightsThe Fast Copy Customer Service Representative provides exceptional customer service through in person and digital communication channels, addressing inquiries related to products, services, and orders. They are responsible for processing orders, managing financial transactions, and ensuring accurate invoicing, estimates, and credit card records. The role also supports the production team by assisting with various tasks, delegating responsibilities to student workers, and ensuring timely completion of orders. Additionally, it involves training new student workers on customer service processes and maintaining accurate order documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Customer Requests

  • Monitor website and email for customer requests and inquiries.
  • Process requests by creating invoices and estimates.
  • Handle customer communications through the phone and email.
  • Assist in person customers with questions and inquiries about Fast Copy products and Services.
  • Assist customers with FedEx services.

Order Processing and Financial Transactions

  • Monitor website and email order submissions to ensure timely processing.
  • Process orders by creating invoices and estimates, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain daily credit card transactions and ensure accurate recording for financial tracking.
  • Assist with daily department charges and Point of Sale closeouts to ensure proper financial reconciliation.
  • Conduct quality checks on printed products to ensure high standards are met.
  • Maintain quality and organization of completed orders pending pickup/delivery.

Administrative Support and Production Assistance

  • Support the production team with various tasks when time permits, ensuring workflow efficiency.
  • Assist in delegating tasks to student workers ensuring effective time management and productivity.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure that all production tasks are completed on schedule and to company standards.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of orders and requests.
  • Assist with training new student staff on proper customer service processes and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Prior knowledge of printing and reproductive services.
  • Ability to work with basic printing equipment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience working in a printshop.
  • Experience with data management and CRM systems.
