Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-centric
Customer Service Representative to join our Hauppauge, NY office. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will provide outstanding service across multiple channels—including phone, email, and live chat—while supporting order management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Deliver accurate information on products, services, and company policies.
- Resolve customer concerns with empathy and efficiency, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Process orders, returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies using ERP systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Logistics, Technical Support) to facilitate smooth order fulfillment and communication.
- Proactively monitor order status and follow up on any delays or issues.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve customer service processes.
- Support cross-selling and upselling efforts when appropriate based on customer needs.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Tuttnauer’s products and services to better assist customers and team members.
- Prepare reports and analyze customer service metrics to track performance.
- Maintain a positive, solutions-focused approach and take initiative in managing tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or order entry role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., ERP, DDX) is a plus.
- Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is preferred, but not required.
