Pet Parent Concierge – Part Time - Mon-Fri 2:00pm - 7:00pm & Sat 7:00am - 2:00pm Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, and solution-minded individual to join our team as a Pet Parent Concierge. This is a key role within our business to grow the number of dogs in daycare and explain the benefits of our services to our beloved pet parents! This person should love dogs and people. The Front Desk staff is our front-line connection to our pet parents and a vital part of creating a welcoming environment. Duties include: Manage pet parent contact information and effectively communicate with them as well as veterinarians Answers incoming calls, and communicates messages in a timely manner Accurately record health and behavioral notes in daily activity log and communicate those with both shifts Maintains confidentiality in Dogtopia practices and all aspects of the business Work with our pet tracking software and accurately manage checking dogs in and out, scheduling services, as well as updating pet profiles, vaccination records, etc. Conduct opening and closing procedures including transaction totals and balancing the cash drawer Greeting all customers promptly and in a welcoming way in person Effectively communicates health and behavior concerns with customers in a professional manner Professionally manage all billing issues or customer inquiries Maintain the appearance of the lobby and front desk. Assist with bringing dogs in and out of the building as needed As a Pet Parent Concierge you will work with all customers, furry friends and team members to ensure that Dogtopia sets the highest standards of satisfaction, safety and fun. Physical requirements Candidates must be physically able to manipulate dogs of up to 100+ pounds and move them through the facility in an expedient manner.
