Job Description Summary

The primary responsibility for this role is to manage customer orders from receipt to shipment and invoicing. This includes communicating the needs of our customers internally to business unit management, production and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Customer File Management & Process Improvement: Maintain customer files and participate in workgroups to improve customer service processes and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Team Support & Training: Provide backup for customer service representatives during time off and assist in training new employees.
  • Internal & External Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Purchasing, Plant Production, and Marketing to manage product setup, logistics, forecasting, and demand. Interact with customers and vendors for product inquiries, quality issues, and logistical concerns.
  • Decision-Making & Complaint Resolution: Approve expedited shipments, manage orders requiring additional costs, and handle complaint resolution.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to effectively manage and coordinate multiple tasks under time and pressure.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a multicultural environment
  • High School Diploma with 6-7 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an associate's degree with 4-6 years of experience in a related area.
