Position: We’re looking for reliable, positive and energetic store associates with retail industry experience, a commitment to providing top-notch customer service, and a love for both dogs and the people who love them. Our store associates are the public face of our bakery and the reason customers return. Responsibilities: Be honest, reliable, trustworthy and kind. Provide excellent customer service Manage financial transactions Superior product knowledge. (training provided) Maintain an organized and tidy appearance throughout the store. Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts. Assist with baking and decorating. Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Provide outgoing, personable and friendly customer service Be knowledgeable of baked goods and basic dog dietary needs Maintain stock levels for all products in store Keep store clean and sanitary Perform daily store operations Opening and closing duties as required Have a true love of dogs, to look out for their best interest and suggest beneficial products for their health, happiness and well-being Be willing to learn and take instruction well Have an outgoing personality and the ability to interact well with people and dogs to make their experience in the bakery fun and enjoyable Be organized and have a great attention to detail Ability to learn new techniques Ability to multi-task Work conditions and physical requirements: Some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items up to 40lbs.
