Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their purchases, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience while accurately processing transactions. Duties - Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. - Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using the cash register. - Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance customer experience. - Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities. - Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store environment. - Provide support in food service areas, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Requirements - Previous experience in food service, café, grocery store, restaurant, or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred. - Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. - Excellent communication skills with a focus on helping customers effectively. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Experience with upselling techniques is a plus. - Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
