Role Overview:

As a Customer Service Associate at Salmon, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our customers. You will be responsible for responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service via various communication channels. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, empathy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and account details.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues by identifying problems and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Assist customers in navigating the Salmon mobile app and website, providing technical support when necessary.
  • Process account requests such as loan applications, credit card queries, and transaction updates.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as technical support, operations, and sales, to resolve complex issues.
  • Record and log all customer interactions, ensuring data accuracy and tracking key metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, products, and fintech industry trends to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and suggest process improvements to management.
  • Meet performance targets, including customer satisfaction, response time, and issue resolution rates.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any related field (business, finance, communication preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or a similar industry.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer service software (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk).
  • Basic understanding of fintech products and services.
