BENEFITS OF JOINING OUR TEAM ● Through mentorship and training within the software industry that includes working closely with an assigned Customer Operations Leader as a Mentor ● Dynamic and diverse culture within a strong team environment THE ROLE As a Certinia intern, you will be fully emerged within our Customer Operations (CO) team and responsible for a number of key areas, including: ● Gain a good understanding of our Certinia CO mission, business model and day-to-day operations. Help in identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes. ● Evaluate current CO processes and formulate a strategy plan for improvement opportunities. ● Start and lead a CO process improvement workstream with the support of a cross-functional team ● Create a tracker/dashboard to manage the results of process improvements ● Extract and analyze data needed to evaluate current processes to determine potential improvements ● Work with CO Operations team to streamline continued process improvement efforts The role will involve working with one or more internal teams, learning about how they work, and making contributions to their goals and objectives. You will have a mentor to support, stretch and guide you during your internship. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE Responsibilities will include some or all of the following: ● Run a gap analysis with the outputs being documentation of: current state, R/Y/G of processes, and suggestions on strategic projects or programs to shore up the re-defined processes. ● Working closely with the manager or assigned staff member, and completing all allocated tasks. ● Conducting desktop research, or gathering information through surveys or by speaking to internal clients and staff. ● Updating documents and CO records. ● Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions. ● Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE ● It is important that you have a passion for producing the highest quality work that ultimately makes Certinia successful ● Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team ● Resourcefulness in getting over problems and establishing clarity ● You will be an undergraduate on a Business related degree track ● Strong interest in technology and sales ● Attention to detail ● Self-motivated and coachable ● Determined, team player with a can-do attitude and professional demeanor ● Rising Junior or Senior ● Must be available to start in June Salary Range: Sales Operation Intern - (Austin) $25/hr / $1000/wk
