Job Description
Meade Engineering is seeking a Customer Marketing Manager to lead strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen relationships with our existing and prospective clients, elevate brand visibility, and drive customer advocacy. This is your opportunity to shape how a respected engineering firm engages with its most valuable audience-its clients-through impactful communications, lifecycle marketing, and strategic events.
This role plays a key part in our go-to-market efforts and will also provide strategic guidance and content for our Field Marketing Manager to ensure consistent, customer-centric messaging across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and a seasoned marketer with experience in customer engagement, communications, and event planning across complex industries.
Job Duties
- Develop and execute customer lifecycle marketing strategies to increase engagement, adoption, retention, and advocacy.
- Identify and showcase customer success stories through case studies, testimonials, speaking opportunities, media placements, and award submissions.
- Create and manage compelling external communications-including press releases, media kits, and web content-that communicate the company's impact and elevate the customer voice.
- Provide strategic marketing guidance, messaging, and materials to the Field Marketing Managers for use in regional campaigns and customer initiatives.
- Plan and execute customer-facing events such as webinars, conferences, and virtual experiences to promote client engagement and celebrate success.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure customer messaging aligns with product positioning and business development goals.
- Build and manage customer reference programs, including identifying advocates, tracking participation, and supporting reference calls, RFPs, analyst briefings, and speaking engagements.
- Use data-driven insights to design and deploy targeted campaigns that support onboarding, expansion, and renewal efforts.
- Ensure consistency and cohesion across all customer marketing touchpoints, aligning efforts with broader brand, marketing, and sales strategies.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and campaign performance to refine marketing strategy and maximize impact.
- Act as a vocal internal and external advocate for customer marketing, ensuring alignment across functions and championing client success stories company wide.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a customer-facing or customer marketing role.
- Proven ability to design and manage strategic marketing programs that enhance customer experience and drive measurable results.
- Extensive experience planning and managing customer-facing events.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical stories into compelling content.
- Experience managing external communications, media relations, and press opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple projects and timelines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation platforms, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
- Experience with market research, media planning, and promotional strategy.
