Job Title: Customer & Market Insight Executive

Role Overview

As a Customer & Market Insight Manager/Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping brand and business strategies through a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics. You’ll lead research initiatives, synthesize complex data into meaningful insights, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive informed decisions across marketing, product, and commercial functions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Research Planning & Execution

  • Design and manage end-to-end research projects — both qualitative and quantitative — to address strategic business questions.
  • Leverage a variety of sources including surveys, focus groups, digital listening, and syndicated data to uncover insights.

2. Consumer & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Integrate data from multiple touchpoints to deliver holistic, insight-driven recommendations that influence marketing strategies, product innovation, and brand direction.

3. Insight Communication & Storytelling

  • Translate research findings into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations through impactful reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Act as a thought partner to stakeholders by proactively identifying trends, opportunities, and risks within the category or consumer landscape.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Consumer & Market Insights, preferably within the FMCG, personal care, or beauty industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and research platforms (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, Qualtrics).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling capabilities.
  • A collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude and business-oriented approach.
