Description

We are in search of a Customer Service Representative for a Contract to Permanent job opportunity located in Dallas, Texas. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and customer service to ensure seamless operations and exceptional client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be proactive, meticulous, and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities while keeping clients informed about the status of their freight.
• Accurately input and maintain data related to customer orders, shipments, and inventory.
• Operate Oracle Transportation Management and other transportation systems to monitor shipment progress and resolve issues.
• Assess customer requirements and design solutions to enhance service quality.
• Work closely with internal departments and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient processes.
• Document customer interactions and maintain comprehensive transaction records for future reference.
• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for service improvements.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a customer service role, ideally within logistics or transportation.
• Solid understanding of supply chain operations and freight management.
• Proficiency in data entry with exceptional accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities focused on delivering superior customer experiences.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management or similar supply chain tools.
