Job Summary The CT/RAD Tech will provide Xray and CT imaging services for patients in different facilities. The CT Tech provides patient care and technical skills in the performance of diagnostic computed tomography (CT) examinations for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Responsibilities Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures Performs diagnostic imaging procedures Procedures include, but are not limited to: all patient care and handling, quality control procedures, and all Xray and CT assisted procedures and reconstructions Ensures images are of diagnostic quality and have technical quality Applies principles of radiation protection and the ALARA principle Assists in the diagnostic radiography department Assist other staff as needed for patient care Other duties as assigned Job Requirements 1-year Radiology experience 1 year CT scan experience Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour Schedule: 12 hour shift Education: Associate (Preferred) Experience: X-ray: 1 year (Required) CT: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: ARRT Certification, TMB (Required) Work Location: In person
