Currently seeking an experienced CT Tech for a 13-week night shift contract in Indianapolis, IN. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Trauma Level 1 hospital, providing high-quality care in both adult and pediatric emergency departments. Minimum Requirements: 1+ years of CT Tech experience Current CT Tech License Current AHA BLS Certification COVID Vaccination Card (Exemptions allowed upon request) Valid Driver's License Updated Resume Three Supervisory References from the past two years of employment As a CT Tech in this Trauma Level 1 hospital, you will be responsible for performing CT scans in both adult and pediatric emergency departments. You will be working with 3 state-of-the-art CT scanners, including 1 GE and 2 Siemens machines. The role will require a detail-oriented professional who can handle the fast-paced nature of trauma care, especially during night shifts Unit Information: Trauma Level 1 Hospital Adult ER & Pediatric ER 3 Scanners: 1 GE and 2 Siemens Key Responsibilities: Operate CT machines to capture images for diagnostic purposes in trauma, adult ER, and pediatric ER settings. Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, explaining the process to patients and preparing them as needed. Work closely with physicians and other medical staff to ensure quality diagnostic imaging. Be prepared to respond quickly and efficiently to trauma cases, maintaining composure under pressure. Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and other relevant data in the EMR system. Ensure that all CT equipment is functioning properly, performing basic maintenance, and alerting the team to any issues.
