Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the event tech team, ensuring high performance and engagement.
- Oversee the planning and execution of event technology setups for clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event lifecycle.
- Manage technical aspects of events, including AV equipment, streaming services, and registration platforms.
- Resolve any issues that arise during events promptly and effectively.
- Analyze event performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement processes to enhance event operations.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure quality service delivery.
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct post-event reviews to gather feedback and implement changes for future events.
- Train and mentor team members in event technology operations and customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in event management.
Qualifications
- Any Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in managing events, preferably in a technology-focused role.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of team management.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Deep understanding of event technology and AV systems.
- Experience in project management and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
- Willingness to travel as required for event setups and management.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to events.
