Job Summary
SafeNest is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Our work is to empower survivors, raise awareness, and work towards a violence-free community.
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of key initiatives that support SafeNest's strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about community impact.
Key Responsibilities: - Project Leadership & Planning
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for new and ongoing initiatives.
- Align project goals with organizational strategy and community needs.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate activities, share resources, and streamline project workflows.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure clarity and momentum across departments.
- Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the coordination of staff, volunteers, consultants, and partner organizations.
- Monitoring & Reporting
- Track progress against deliverables, prepare internal and external reports, and evaluate project impact.
- Proactively manage project risks and recommend course corrections.
- Budget Oversight
- Work with finance and program leads to monitor and manage project budgets responsibly.

Skills And Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Public Administration, or related field required; PMP certification or Master’s degree a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable navigating cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid or remote environment.
Physical Requirements And Work Conditions
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- This position will primarily work in an office environment and must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and use a computer or other office equipment.
- The work may require occasional evening and weekend hours to attend events or meet critical deadlines.
- The work environment may be fast-paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and situations.
