Summary

Ming Entertainment Group specializes in providing crewing personnel and management services to the sports entertainment and event industries. The Crewing Coordinator will be responsible to provide production staffing solutions for live sports broadcast and entertainment nationwide.


The right candidate will assist with day to day functions within the crewing department. Duties include, but not limited to: hiring and scheduling of personnel, managing crew grids, communication with the live sports production/operations department, working with local crewing companies, assessing qualifications for individual positions per sport, and preparation of crewing materials for distribution.


We are interested in someone who has strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work in the office (this is not a remote or hybrid position)


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Operation Managers to identify job duties and skills for staffing needs.
  • Able to pre-screen and identify freelance technicians and candidates for specific roles to fill various positions on a weekly basis.
  • Heavy phone communication and administrative responsibilities
  • Daily communication and staffing support with team members to verify and ensure parameters are met weekly with regards to scheduling and coordinating staffing event logistics.
  • Preparing crewing materials for distribution
  • Maintain and update resource database, evaluate productivity and time tracking
  • May need to be available during non-traditional hours


Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Crewing experience with major sports league like MLB, NBA, NFL, etc.
  • Familiar with crew complements and positions (ATL positions)
  • Ability to multi-task with adaptability and flexibility with emphasis on meeting weekly deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and have good knowledge of basic computer skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality with a focus on teamwork, responsibility and self-discipline.
  • Projecting a professional company image and demonstrate a positive attitude with patience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbally and written.


Preferred:

  • Previous crewing experience with live sports production and broadcast a plus.
  • Experience working with a sports/TV network a plus
  • 1-2 years of administrative and staffing experience
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • College degree
  • Must be able to work in the office


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening and weekends availability as needed
