Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Credentialing- Contracting Specialist to join our team!

As the Credentialing- Contracting Specialist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Credentialing Support

  • Complete basic sections of forms/ applications for PBMs, State Boards of Pharmacy, Medicaid agencies, and other regulatory bodies for manager review and submission.
  • Assist in tracking credentialing and recredentialing deadlines and submissions.
  • Assist in updating NCPDP-required data and other credentialing platforms.
  • Support the preparation and submission of pharmacy renewals, new registrations, and provider number requests.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets/documents for pharmacy ownership and location details.
  • Prepare and assist with updates related to EFT/835 payer enrollments.

Contracting Support

  • Prepare initial drafts of facility contracts and amendments for manager review.
  • Track contract status and maintain lists of outstanding or pending contracts.
  • Assist with contract research or documentation requests from leadership.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a multi-project environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word); experience with credentialing databases or contract management systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, credentialing, or contract support preferred but not required.
