Is this job for you? As Faherty's Creative Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Marketing Department with efficient execution and management of creative projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and brand standards while facilitating smooth collaboration between creative teams and other stakeholders. You will act as a bridge between creative leadership, marketing, product management, and external parties, optimizing workflows and processes while embodying our core values. What you'll do: * Project Coordination: * Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of creative projects, ensuring all timelines and deadlines are met. * Responsible for leading the following meetings: weekly briefing, weekly creative, internal creative reviews and new meetings we will be identifying * Distribute responsibilities among team members and ensure clear understanding of deadlines and expectations. * Independently (and in collaboration with the Director of Brand Operations) iterate and develop processes to help the creative team (and cross-functional partners) and initiatives run more efficiently and effectively * Freelance Interaction: * Own the onboarding process for Creative freelancers as it relates to business as usual work * Support freelance communication, understanding project needs, and gathering requirements to relay them to the internal creative team. * Filter external work into our internal project management system to ensure we are looking at the full scope of Creative output * Team Support: * Help manage the flow of work between departments and provide updates on project progress after each meeting for any type of work. * Be the main note taker for Creative Review's, working sessions, brainstorming sessions in Miro, Figma etc and circulate those notes in appropriate channels * Ensure that deliverables are aligned with brand guidelines and creative standards. * Project Management every task that is asked of Designers (no matter how small and one off) * Own the organization of files and imagery for the Creative + Marketing teams. Google Drive, Box, Air etc. The team will know that you are the gatekeeper for file + imagery management * Provide support to team members when they need help completing tasks, whether it's reviewing documents, organizing assets, or facilitating information flow. *This is less about giving creative direction and concepts. This is about getting information and files to them to help them do their jobs. * Own the allocation of resources designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to allocate resources effectively and ensure project needs are met. * Documentation & Reporting: * Maintain project documentation, including timelines, status reports, and meeting notes, to ensure transparency and efficient communication across teams. * Track all notes in Asana instead of Slack to track conversations about the work * Create and maintain SOP's within the scope of project management responsibility (Examples-how does creative come to life here at Faherty? How do you start at a concept and go through the process of a go-live etc?), * Develop tools, forms, trackers as necessary to facilitate and improve the project management function * Problem-Solving: * Identify potential roadblocks in the project timeline or process and work with the Director of Brand Operations and team members to address issues ahead of time. * Own the project scopes and make note that if projects/tasks keeps expanding beyond the original agreement, leading to delays and resource strain call that out ahead of time * Ideate the project scope from the start and establish a system for handling changes (change request forms or approval processes). Regularly check in with stakeholders to ensure the project remains aligned with the original objectives. If scope changes are necessary, ensure they're documented and that additional resources or time are allocated. What you'll have: * Bachelor's Degree in a related field * 5+ years of project management experience in creative operations, project management, or marketing production across creative and marketing projects such as brand campaigns, visual merchandising, and/or packaging. * You've worked with in-house and external creative teams, preferably in retail, beauty, or consumer-facing industries. * You have direct experience managing marketing assets, such as paid social, lifecycle, direct mail, web, and influencer/affiliate. * You're an expert in project management tools like Asana and familiar with creative tools like Adobe Suite and Figma. * You have experience leading complex, fast paced marketing campaigns from kickoff to execution with product and campaign launch experience being a plus. * Experience working hands on with designers and creatives, and integrating into the process beyond just managing dates. * Familiarity with mechanical files and print production processes preferred (e.g. dielines, print specs, PPS processes, etc.) * Extremely organized with strong attention to detail * Strong problem solver with analytical skills and instinctive ability to forecast and pre-determine what certain decisions will lead to * Effective & direct communicator with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, while ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures. * Ability to thrive in a fast paced and high-volume environment, with ever changing priorities * Go getter with the ability to roll your sleeves up to get the job done * Calmest person in the room with the ability to be clear, concise, and straight to the point while encouraging collaboration We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 USD, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
