As the new Creative Director, you will lead and manage the Creative Team, ensuring team members produce high-quality marketing materials efficiently and effectively. You will oversee the creative process, manage project priorities, and provide clear direction to ensure alignment with the company’s goals. This role requires a balance of strong design expertise, project management skills, and people leadership. The ideal candidate is a decisive and tactical thinker who can act with authority and agility in directing the team’s group effort on multiple projects of shifting priorities, streamline workflows, and drive professional creative output from the team.

Pay range: $110k-130k
Location: 100% Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the team’s workload by prioritizing projects based on urgency, impact, and complexity, ensuring each task received the necessary attention given its priority and stage of development, moving items quickly through production without compromising on quality or accuracy.
- Establish and maintain efficient workflows that enable the team to produce high-quality marketing materials at a fast pace without unnecessary bottlenecks.
- Provide clear, decisive guidance to designers, ensuring they understand expectations, deadlines, and project goals while fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
- Regularly assess team capacity and reallocate resources as needed to ensure deadlines are met while maintaining balance within the team.
- Collaborating with team members of various creative backgrounds with regular check-ins and feedback sessions to enhance team performance, optimize processes, and ensure continuous improvement in design output.
- Elevate the quality of marketing materials and designed assets for the various brands by overseeing the creative process and, when need be, providing the design itself
- Continued stewardship of the company’s brand across various mediums and platforms, maintaining our high aesthetic standards and consistency in marketing materials.
- Ensure that all members of the creative team have the information, assets, and tools necessary to complete their projects successfully.
- Interface and coordinate with cross-functional partners when projects require collaboration across multiple departments.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in direction, project management, and/or people management of graphic designers and creative teams.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisive creative and operational decisions, balancing speed, and quality in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remove roadblocks, troubleshoot challenges, and keep projects on track.
- A results-driven mindset, with the ability to measure the impact of creative work and continuously refine processes for better outcomes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) for print and digital designs; Figma for website design; PowerPoint for professional presentations.
- Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of web, print, and branding projects that demonstrate creativity, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to take direction from various team members from multiple cross-functional teams, and the ability to translate such feedback for designers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
