Creative Director
Position Overview:
The Creative Director is responsible for shaping and executing the creative vision across all brand touchpoints. This role leads the development of compelling, consumer-focused marketing campaigns, ensuring all creative assets align with brand identity, market trends, and strategic goals. Through collaboration with internal teams and external partners, the Creative Director defines the brand’s visual and narrative presence, driving impactful storytelling across digital, print, video, and experiential platforms. While primarily a leadership and strategy role, this position also requires the ability to contribute hands-on design work when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Strategy & Brand Vision
- Lead and define creative direction across digital, social, print, video, and other channels.
- Ensure consistency in brand identity, messaging, and visual execution.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, technology, and consumer insights to maintain brand relevance.
- Provide hands-on design support when needed to meet deadlines and enhance project execution.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Develop creative concepts for marketing initiatives, product launches, and brand campaigns.
- Ensure all creative executions effectively communicate brand messaging and align with business objectives.
- Review and refine creative assets to drive audience engagement and impact.
- Step in to execute design work when additional support is needed.
Collaboration with Internal & External Teams
- Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to translate business needs into creative solutions.
- Partner with external agencies, designers, and content creators to execute high-quality campaigns.
- Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to creative partners.
Creative Review & Feedback
- Evaluate creative work to ensure it aligns with brand standards and strategic goals.
- Offer actionable feedback to refine creative outputs and maintain quality.
Brand Stewardship
- Maintain and protect the brand’s visual identity and tone of voice.
- Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
- Educate stakeholders on brand principles and the importance of cohesive creative execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a senior creative leadership role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful creative campaigns.
- Expertise in branding, design principles, and marketing strategy.
- Experience working with consumer brands and developing audience-focused creative strategies.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with emerging creative technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to contribute hands-on design work when needed.
- Open to candidates in Creative Manager or Design Lead roles looking to step into a Creative Director position.
