We’re looking for a multi-skilled Content Creator & Designer who can bring brands to life with powerful visuals — from high-quality designs to on-site content capture. If you live and breathe creativity, are excited, and love telling stories through both static and motion content, we want you on our team!

About the Role:

You’ll be working across a mix of client campaigns, social media content, and MintLab’s own branding projects.

This is a hands-on hybrid role: one part designer, one part content creator, and 100% creative energy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

> Content Creation & Shooting

• Plan, coordinate, and shoot photos and videos for social media campaigns, events, and brand launches.
• Capture behind-the-scenes, product, and lifestyle content.
• Travel locally to shoot at client locations when needed.

> Design & Motion Graphics

• Create social media graphics, ads, flyers, brochures, and branding materials.
• Design motion graphics, simple animations, and video edits for digital campaigns.
• Keep all visuals aligned with each brand’s identity and voice.

> Trend spotting & Experimentation

• Stay ahead of design trends, social media formats, and content innovations.
• Experiment with AI design tools, new editing styles, and interactive content.

> Collaboration & Strategy

• Work closely with our Content, Strategy, and Project teams to bring campaigns to life.
• Provide creative input into brand strategies and campaign pitches.

What you'll need to succeed

Core Skills (Required):

• Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Strong eye for visual storytelling, composition, and aesthetics.
• Ability to edit both static and video content tailored for social media (Reels, Posts, Ads, etc.).
• Familiarity with basic lighting setups, audio capture for videos, and smartphone videography.

Better to Have (Not Mandatory):

• Experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras or professional content capture equipment.
• Bonus if you’re proficient in Figma or Canva.
• Access to personal equipment (camera, tripod, lighting gear) is a plus.
• (If not, MintLab can support equipment needs based on the final arrangement.)

Soft Skills:

• Proactive and self-driven attitude.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects under tight timelines.
• Willingness to travel within Colombo and the surrounding areas for shoots.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with a fast-moving creative team.
